CzechTrade: Exports grew by 1.1% in 2021, increased interest in IT

In January-February 2021, exports up 1.1% year on year. Growth primarily in the export to EU.

According to Czech Trade Promotion Agency/CzechTrade, in the first two months of 2021, exports grew 1.1% year on year.  Growth was registered primarily in the export of IT technologies. In the first two months of 2021, exports from Czech republic grew 1.1% year on year.

CzechTrade recorded the highest interest in exports into EU countries, mainly to Germany, Austria, and Poland. Growth was registered primarily in the export of IT technologies. In the first quarter of 2021, the CezchTrade´s offices abroad processed 609 individual services for 391 Czech companies.

Year on year, it was more than twice the service volume. The Sourcing Day Tschechien event, during which German companies request supplies from Czech exporters, will take place at the turn of June and July 2021 online due to the pandemic. This year's number of companies requesting Czech suppliers has almost tripled year on year. In the coming month, Sourcing Days will also occur with partners from Austria, Spain, and Colombia.
