Škoda produces without restriction components of the EPR reactor for nuclear power plants

ŠKODA JS continues production without restrictions. The company is one of the leading engineering and production companies with experience in construction and service of nuclear power plants

The container program in the reactor hall continues without restrictions. The internal components of the EPR reactor for Hinkley Point C and the final assembly of the fuel inspection stand for Temelín Nuclear Power Plant are also being processed.


The EPR reactor for Hinkley Point C - it is produced for French company FRAMATOME for the production and delivery of two sets of the EPR 1600 MW reactor pressure vessel internals for the for the construction of the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant in Somerset, UK. The delivery includes especially the Core Barrel, Heavy Reflector and Upper Internals that are similar to the VVER 1000 upper block.

The company manufactures PRO-M drives for Dukovany NPP in Bolevec in Plzeň. Production processes are long-running and take several months or even years from the start of production to shipping. The company therefore does not suffer from material input problems.
