ENERGO-PRO wins DFC guarantee for bonds for EUR 300m ENERGO-PRO Group has received a guarantee from the United States Development Finance Corporation (DFC) for its latest EUR 300m bond issue. This is the first guarantee of a similar transaction in Europe. The DFC focuses on supporting the development of lowincome countries, and part of its mandate is energy security and resource diversification in Europe and Central Asia. ENERGO-PRO is a hydroelectric power plant operator and electricity distributor in Bulgaria and Georgia, among others, where it is planning equity investments in its assets. The bonds were placed among a small group of international institutional investors from the UK.
