In March 2022, the interest rate of new loans to non-finance companies (excluding overdrafts, revolving loans and credit cards) increased on average to 6.15%, according to the Czech National Bank (ČNB). The interest rate grew to 6.27% for loans of up to CZK 7.5m (USD 321 thousands), to 5.70% for loans between CZK 7.5m (USD 321 thousands) and CZK 30m (USD 1.3m), and grew 0.44 pp to 6.19% for loans over CZK 30m (USD 1.3m). The interest rate for overdrafts, revolving loans and credit card loans increased to 6.51%, with the interest rate for overdrafts rising to 6.73%.
