The international AutoFair project, which received a grant of EUR 3.84m in the European Horizon Europe program, will focus on the design of explainable and transparent artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. AutoFair was selected for funding as the only project coordinated by an institution from the Czech Republic. Its main researcher is Jakub Mareček from the Center for Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague (ČVUT). The grant will reach CZK 15m. The goal of the three-year project is to ensure that AI algorithms do not side with anyone.
