Five aircraft will expand the Israir fleet, and one machine will head to the Arkia fleet.

Due to lower demand for travel within Europe over the winter period, the Czech airline Smartwings will lease 9 of its 39 aircraft to three foreign carriers. Israir Airlines will have the largest number of aircraft, namely five. A total of three machines will head to U.S. carrier Swift Air for the winter. And only one aircraft will be leased to Arkia Israel Airlines.

From its base in Tel Aviv, Israir will operate flights to Athens, Budapest, Batumi, Kyiv, Larnaca, Sofia, Rome, Munich, Tbilisi, Berlin, and Prague. The aircraft leased to Arkia will operate on routes from Tel Aviv to Dubai, Marrakech, Athens, Rome, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Yerevan.
