Traditional Czech products help against Israeli drought

At this difficult time, the Czech company JUTA (http://www.juta.cz) won a tender for the Habonim reservoir near Haifa. This reservoir is the largest utility water storage project in Israel in the last 5 years. The Habonim project will increase the total capacity of the reservoirs in the region. For its construction, JUTA will supply 24 containers of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembranes (waterproofing foil) worth around 1 mil. EUR.
JUTA is a traditional manufacturer of a wide range of products for construction, agriculture and packaging materials - Geomembranes, nonwoven geotextiles, woven geotextiles, agrotextiles, twine, sacks, shading/sunscreening knitwear, large-volume bags, artificial lawn, special and filter yarns etc. More than 80% of its production is exported abroad. The company has past experience in the Israeli market from 2010, where it has been supplying its products, mainly the above-mentioned HDPE geomembranes, for years. These geomembranes are built into the in-ground and underground parts of a wide range of structures with the purpose of preventing the penetration of liquids and gases from the environment into the structure, or in the opposite direction.
