Czech government is preparing measures against the decline of industry by solving lack of employees.

Within the framework of the National Economic Strategy 2030, which the government will present at the turn of the year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MPO) is preparing measures against the decline of industry. The ministry earmarked CZK 70m for increased support of exporters, while the lack of employees will be solved by an increased quota of up to 40,000 Ukrainians per year and 10,000 workers from other countries outside the EU. Research, development and innovation will be supported by CZK 37bn in 2020. MPO also expects that in the period 2021-2027 it will be possible to redistribute at least CZK 100bn from European funds to companies.
