The annual value of Czech national exports for 2019 will exceed CZK
3.7 trillion. Achieving a new historical record will not be threatened
even by lower performance of domestic exports at the end of the year. The Index Export (IE) prediction also shows that not even the
start of 2020 is likely to bring a recovery of the sector.
Raiffeisenbank chief economist Helena Horská stated that the fullyear
average growth of the export value for 2019 below 3 % is
a good result given the many negative factors affecting the sector.
Exporters’ Association deputy chairman Otto Daněk added that in
international terms exports will grow to roughly CZK 4.6 trillion.
