The Czech market entered in 2021 new 29 brands.

In 2021, 29 new brands entered the Czech Republic despite the pandemic, which represents a year-on-year increase of 26%, according to an analysis by CBRE. The main event was the debut of Irish clothing retailer Primark. The so-called phygital store of partner companies and Modivo was also opened. The new store combines the advantages of a brick-and-mortar store with the convenience of e-shops. Jan Janáček, head of CBRE's retail leasing team, said that most of the new brands were heading to Prague, 23 in total. Active brands included those from Slovakia (Dedoles, CUBE, and Cinemax). He added that the outlook for the coming year is promising, whether it is the opening of boutiques of fashion brands Chanel and Balenciaga or the announced expansion of the Czech coffee chain Basics Coffee.
