The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MPO) increased the allocation of the third tender of the program TREND.

MPO raises TREND budget to CZK 3bn The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MPO) increased the allocation of the third tender of the program TREND. The tender was announced in cooperation with the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR). Up to 163 research projects will be supported by CZK 3bn instead of the originally planned 45 projects and CZK 1bn thanks to that. MPO has secured CZK 390m from its funds to finance the program TREND in 2021. The Czech Republic plans to receive additional funds within the framework of the National Recovery Plan from the European financial tool RRF for the recovery and resilience of the European economy. MPO stated that many of the research results in the fight against the pandemic were related to the support from programs opened by TA ČR.
