AutoSAP: Car production in CR fell to 1,023,772 units

By the end of November, 1,023,772 passenger cars had been manufactured in the Czech Republic, which is a y/y decrease of 2.9 %.

The Association of the Automotive Industry (AutoSAP) informed about it, stating that in November, production increased y/y due to a slight improvement in the situation in semiconductor supplies. Over 10 % of domestic production currently consists of electrified models. The most successful was the carmaker Hyundai, which produced 257,000 vehicles (+ 19.1 % y/y). ŠKODA AUTO produced 630,317 cars (-8.7 %) and Toyota 136,455 units (-7.7 %). There were a total of 112,934 electrified cars, which is 11 % of total production. Of these, ŠKODA AUTO produced 46,677 battery electric cars (BEV) and 26,759 plug-in hybrids (PHEV), Hyundai 19,776 BEV and 19,722 PHEV, and since November Toyota has also been producing hybrid cars in Cologne.
