The Czech economy will grow by 2.5% in 2019 and 2.0% in 2020.

This is expected by the Czech Banking Association (ČBA). Risks still tend towards a weaker growth due to the slowdown of the global economy. This applies also after the latest voting of the British Parliament. The predicted growth dynamic will be contributed to primarily by the private consumption. The share of unemployed people will decrease to 2.8% in 2019 and grow to 3.1% in 2020. The inflation rate will reach 2.7% in 2019 and 2.3% in 2020.
