steam and air-conditioned air rose by 53.5%. Prices for food,
beverages and tobacco were 25.5% higher, with prices for milling
and starch products up 48.2%. According to Eurostat data, industrial
producer prices rose by 27.4% in the EU in October. In Slovakia,
prices were 38.8% higher. For the whole of 2022, industrial
producers increased their prices by 24.3%. Construction work was
12.3% more expensive and building materials 20.7% more
expensive.
