MF: State deficit at CZK 15.38bn on Aug 31

As at August 31, 2019, total revenues of the Czech Republic’s state budget were CZK 969.80bn, total expenditures were CZK 985.18bn and the deficit amounted to CZK 15.38bn.

After adjustments for the influence of EU funding and financial mechanisms, the deficit totalled CZK 15.89bn, which was a worse year-on-year result by CZK 10.54bn. In year-on-year terms, revenues were CZK 69.18bn higher and expenditures were CZK 99.34bn higher, according to figures from a report by the Czech Ministry of Finance.
