The Czech Republic is preparing to establish an agency that will provide export support to manufacturers of military equipment, weapons, software and security systems at the government level.

The information was confirmed for ČIANEWS by Jiří Caletka, the spokesman for the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic (MO). The agency will likely be established in January 2021 under the name the Agency for International Defence Cooperation (AMOS). It will report to MO. AMOS will not provide financial guarantees, but it will help to provide a technical guarantee for the quality of goods. Where relevant, it will be possible to obtain financial guarantees from the Export Guarantee and Insurance Company and the Czech Export Bank.
