Bosch opened a new development and technology centre in České Budějovice on September 20, 2019. The six-storey building will serve for 600 employees, who will focus on the applied research of automotive components including modules for the neutralisation of NOx in compression ignition engines (DNOX). The investment in the production and the development centre reaches nearly CZK 2bn in years 2017-2020. Some CZK 850m was invested in the centre and its equipment. The company has created 640 jobs (140 in development) since the beginning of the investment in 2017.
