Usage of ČEZ charging stations for EV has doubled in H1 2020

The number of customers using charging stations for electric vehicles in the ČEZ network in connection with new registrations of electric cars in the Czech Republic doubled in H1 2020. ČEZ clean technology department's manager Tomáš Chmelík specified that out of the total of 5,000 registered EVs, ca. a half use power from ČEZ regularly. Of these, ca. 2,000 EV users use the IT system from Israelicompany Driivz, which enables them e.g. to find the nearest charging point. ČEZ's network of stations should expand fivefold to 1,000 stands within five years. In 2020, the group expects consumption at the level of 2.5 million kWh.
