ČEZ plans
271 investment projects worth CZK 3.6bn for the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant
(ETE) in 2023. The aim is to ensure at least 60 years of operation and increase
efficiency. Key projects include the extension of the fuel campaign or the modernization
of control systems, which it plans to complete in 2029. ČEZ also plans to
launch a tender for new generators, which should be replaced in 2028 at Unit 1
and two years later at Unit 2. It also plans to deploy new software to monitor
the economic operation of the main generating units. It should deliver savings
