In the future, the Czech Republic should rely
primarily on nuclear and renewable energy sources. This is according to a
survey conducted by IBRS - International Business & Research Services, with
96% of the population considering the country's self-sufficiency in energy
supply to be crucial. The development of nuclear energy is supported by 70% and
renewable energy by 74% of respondents, while 53% see the future of Czech
energy in a combination of the two. Only 3% support coal sources.
