Korea's handling of coronavirus recognized by the Czech Republic

South Korean Ambassador to the Czech Republic Kim Tae-jin and Yang Dong-hwan, chief of Hyundai Motor Co.'s Czech unit, held a meeting with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis in Prague on March 25, 2020. The meeting came after the Czech Republic removed South Korea from the list of high-risk countries in connection with the new coronavirus pandemic. Hyundai Motor announced a plan recently to donate 500 million won (US$400,000) and 20,000 face masks to help the Czech Republic deal with COVID-19.
