VR Vitalis win the eighth year of Vodafone's startup programme

The Vodafone Foundation's Laboratory Accelerator Programme has supported the VR Vitalis project, which aims to develop new application technologies for education and clinical practice, focusing primarily on patients with central and peripheral nervous system disabilities. The virtual reality application helps to train patients' upper and lower limbs, cognitive functions or meditation. Currently, the project is being tested by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava and the University Hospital Ostrava in exercises for patients with neurodegenerative diseases. The laboratory has already supported more than 100 startups, among which it has distributed more than CZK 31m. In September, it will start accepting applications for the 10th year of the acceleration programme.
