AŽD Praha has won the tender for the supply of 800 electromechanical switches for the Estonian railway network AS Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways). As the main contractor, it will supply the equipment on the basis of successive orders over a period of four years. The value of the contract is EUR 6.1m. The subject of the tender is PointSWing EP-642 type equipment and fixing kits for four different switch profiles. The contract with Estonian Railways was signed in June 2022, when AŽD Praha delivered three carriers for testing. The Czech company then received its first order for 148 pieces of equipment.
