The Czech Technical University in Prague (ČVUT) and GE Aviation have begun testing GE Catalyst turboprop engines that will be manufactured in the Czech Republic.

This information was provided by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček (for ANO) after a visit to the ČVUT aircraft-engine test lab at the airfield in Hradec Králové. In the future, it can also be used to test other types of aircraft engines. Another test lab in Hradec Králové is to be completed soon. Their construction was also supported by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO).
