OECD: CR has fourth highest inflation; SR sixth

The Czech Republic recorded one of the highest inflation rate among developed countries.

January inflation in the Czech Republic at 9.9% corresponds to the fourth highest value in the OECD rankings. Slovakia is sixth in this respect (8.4%). Turkey reported the highest inflation (48.7%). It was followed by Lithuania (12.4%) and Estonia (11.3%). By contrast, Japan showed the slowest growth rate in consumer prices (0.5%).
