In the Czech Republic, car production is driven by an improved supply and demand.

Totally 801,774 passenger vehicles were produced (+3.4% y/y) in 8M 2022. The growth is driven by an improved supply and demand chain situation as well as a low comparative base in 2021, when production fell due to semiconductor chip shortages. The Automotive Industry Association (Auto SAP) also reported that 86,224 electric passenger cars (BEV + PHEV) were produced, with a 10.8% share of total production. 3,361 buses were produced (+12.6%). JAWA Moto increased its production by 603 machines to 1339 (+81.9%).
