Prague councillors approved construction of metro D section

Prague will expand its public transportation system.

The Prague Council approved the construction of metro D in section Pankrác - Nové Dvory. At the same time, it entrusted the Prague public transit company (DPP) with its construction. The estimated costs for the construction and commissioning of the section with five stations will amount to CZK 52bn. Construction should take 7.5 years. The longest at the section Pankrác - Olbrachtova. In January 2020, DPP issued two public contracts for its contractors and suppliers of monitoring and passportization.
