A team of scientists from the University of Chemical Technology inPrague (VŠCHT) is investigating the use of 3D printing technology for the production of individual implants for human and veterinary medicine. The experts, who have received financial support from the Czech Technology Agency in the amount of CZK 25m. For the next six years, they will become part of the National Centre of Competence in Mechatronics and Smart Technologies for Engineering. Their project is part of a larger research unit that has received a CZK 200m grant.
