In the coming years, Bohemia Sekt plans to modernise its existing sparkling wine production line in Starý Plzenec, retrofit its operations with sustainable technologies and expand the size of its
vineyards. These currently amount to almost 600 hectares. In 2022, the company expanded its vineyard for CZK 40m.
The processing
capacity of the pressing plant on the premises of the Víno Mikulov winery to 5 million kg of grapes. The technology for processing blue grapes has also been added. When the pressing plant is fully completed in 2023, the total investment will amount to CZK 300m.
The company estimates that, using also the capacities of the centres
at the Vinařství Pavlov and Habánské sklepy wineries, it will process
around 9 million kg of grapes in 2022.
