The total production of Pivovar Svijany in 2021 increased by 5 % y/y to 685,290 hl of beer.

The total production of Pivovar Svijany in 2021 increased by 5 % y/y to 685,290 hl of beer. It lagged behind the record value of 2019 by about 3.5 %. Director Roman Havlík stated this for ČIANEWS and added that last year total export was around 10 % of total production. Slovakia remains the most important export market. The sale of beer in tanks increased by a quarter year-on-year. The sale of bottled beer also increased, while sales of canned beer remained at the level of 2020. Of total production, 85 % are lagers. The share of draft beer is around 10 %.
