Aero: L-159E to become aggressors in RAF pilot training

Aero Vodochody AEROSPACE and the British company Draken Europe have signed a cooperation agreement in support of the Red Air Aggressor Training Service (IRAATS) project of the British Royal Air Force (RAF). The cooperation will also focus on the development of long-term maintenance, modernization, training and logistical support options for the L-159E aircraft squadron. Draken Europe's fleet of eight  L-159Es will soon begin flying a s a n adversary/aggressor against British Armed Forces pilots as part of their training. It is transferring the training concept to Europe from the USA, where it has been using L-159E Honey Badger fighters for many years. (Source: www.cianews.cz/en)
