The team of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Czech
Technical University in Prague (ČVUT) in cooperation with GE
Aviation has launched an experimental engine at its King Air 350
flying test facility, which is preparing for its first flight. ČVUT
informed that the twin-engine aircraft is now modified at Berlin-
Schönefeld Airport by Berlin Beechcraft Aviation for experimental
operation, where one wing will run the original engine of the current
generation, while the other wing is installed a prototype engine of
a new generation, on which ČVUT’s team will perform
experiments. (Source: ČIA News)
