Czech start-up Deafcom plans expansion on 3 continents

By the end of 2022, Deafcom plans to expand collaboration with organisations in Asia, Africa and South America. An investment from Tilia Impact Ventures will aid its foreign expansion. The startup, which created software to broker online interpretation into the sign language and transcription of spoken word, is currently active in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Croatia. In the Czech Republic, its services are used by Česká spořitelna, Raiffeisenbank and Prague municipal authorities. It plans further collaboration in Portugal, Iceland, Malaysia, Kenya and Nigeria.
