Up to two thirds of Czech consumers are about to spend more on things that they couldn’t buy during the pandemics.

With the easing of the restrictions and general improvement of the whole pandemic situation in the Czech Republic people are planning to enjoy more things that were restricted and unavailable. According to Twisto (company providing online payment service) more than half of Czechs are about to buy especially clothing, footwear and holiday experience. Most of them will use their savings for that. Besides that, people want to invest into house equipment, garden equipment, culture and entertainment. Twisto marketing director Pavel Rath said that they reported a record-high volume of transaction in May 2021. The total price for paid goods via Twisto was 250 million CZK.
