Czech Republic most competitive economy in emerging Europe, WEF say

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has named Czech Republic and Estonia as the most competitive economies in emerging Europe both scoring 70.9/100.

In its 2019 Global Competitiveness Report, the Czech Republic was placed 31st on a global list of 141 economies. The WEF measured the strength of 103 key indicators, such as inflation, digital skills and trade tariffs. Singapore is ranked the world’s competitive economy in 2019, having taken over the number one spot from the United States.
