DNAnexus, which provides scientists with a cloud-based platform for easily storing, sharing and analysing biomedical data, has entered into a three-year contract with the UK's Our Future Health (OFH).

The UK programme aims to collect genetic data from more than 5 million healthy people and use it to develop new approaches to prevent, diagnose and treat a range of serious and life-threatening diseases. The Czech programmers will provide the programme with a secure and scalable cloud environment for the next three years and tools to manage and analyse the data collected, as well as for easy collaboration between researchers.
