Research and development director Radomir Smolka specified that the automaker is now working on several alternative drive systems for its cars. The most advanced is the project of a heavy truck with hydrogen fuel cells, which is being built in cooperation with its partners on the chassis of the new generation of the Tatra Force model series in the 8x8 design. The vehicle is intended for operation in mines and will carry the electricity source with it. A fuel cell propulsion system is one way to achieve this.
