The Doosan Škoda Power steam turbine is heading to Glasgow

The company has been selected as the steam turbine supplier for the South Clyde Energy Center incinerator in Scotland. It will supply as much energy as 70,000 households would consume annually.

Doosan Škoda Power is part of a strong group of companies united under the Doosan Group, which delivers cutting-edge technology and services of high quality and value to its customers around the world. In Scotland, Doosan will design and manufacture the proven single-body model DST-G20 with an output of 45 MW. The delivery also includes a gearbox, a generator and an air-cooled condenser. The company will be responsible for setting up the waste-to-energy machinery completely. It is owned by Fortum and Green Investment.
