Czech start-up MIWA has invented a unique technology that could help reduce the amount of disposable plastic used by manufacturers. Could this solution revolutionize the supermarkets and retailers of the future?

MIWA enables a packaging-free distribution of dry food and non-food products through the whole supply chain. The company has designed 20-liter reusable capsules that producers can fill directly with their products and transport them to the store. In supermarkets, customers then fill their own boxes with the products of their choice. Empty capsules are sent back to MIWA, washed and refilled up to 300 times.
