The negative balance of agrarian foreign trade of the Czech Republic deepened by almost 12% y/y in January-September 2019. The deficit thus rose to CZK 33.7bn. The information was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, citing data from the Czech Statistical Office. Agricultural goods went mainly to Slovakia (21.7%) and Germany (20.3%). Poland was the third most important export destination (10.1%). Agricultural commodities were imported mainly from Germany and Poland. Their shares were 21.9% and 15.7% respectively.
