In 2020 Václav Havel Airport Prague handled 3.67m passengers, down 79.4 % y/y. Operations were affected by the pandemic, restrictions and a global decline in demand for flying. Most people were checked in in January (1.05 million). At the same time, this number represents the historically highest January value. Until the end of February, there were direct flights from Prague to 111 places around the world. In the following months, supply was limited and varied depending on the epidemic situation. There were 54,163 take-offs and landings at Prague Airport. This is a year-on-year decline of 65 %.
