Sales prices of new apartments in Prague at the end of the first half of the year rose by an average of 6.1 percent to 108,261 crowns per square meter, according to data from developers Trigema, Skanska Reality and Central Group. The number of apartments sold in the first six months fell by 4 percent year-over-year to 2,400."The impact of the pandemic on the prices of new apartments has not yet been confirmed. Due to insufficient supply, high prices of design and construction work and lengthy permitting processes the real estate prices in good locations are likely to continue to rise" said Petr Michalek, CEO of Skanska Reality, at a press conference.
