Czech National Bank increases interest rates

Following the latest developments in Czech economy, including increased inflation rates, the Czech National Bank (CNB) has decided to change the two-week repo rate.

At its meeting on June 23, 2021, the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank (ČNB) increased the two-week repo rate (2W repo rate) by 25 basis points to 0.50 %. At the same time, it decided to increase the Lombard rate by 25 basis points to 1.25 %. It left the discount rate unchanged at 0.05 %.
