Czech start-up to raise almost $3.5M

Rossum, a Prague based start-up, is working on teaching computers to understand documents as well as humans do. Aiming to save time by facilitating invoice and delivery note processing, a trio of AI PhD students develops software that is already being used by IBM, EY, Siemens or Bloomberg. Established in 2017 and backed by London-based Seedcamp and LocalGlobe, or Czech Miton and StartupYard, the company has raised almost $3.5M in their seed round.
