Czech Technical University collaborated on the development of a portable incubator for testing the toxicity of airborne substances

A team of scientists at the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic participated in the development of a new patent for a device used to test the toxicity of complex mixtures of air pollutants. The toxicological incubator, on which experts from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Czech Technical University and the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague also cooperated, can test, for example, emissions of internal combustion engines in real operation. The portable "toxicological incubator" is a compact device for exposing cell cultures and their aerosol models.
