The total gross demand for offices in Prague amounted to 95,200 m2 in Q1 2019, down by 41% qoq and 16% yoy. The biggest demand was registered in Prague 8 (33.3%), Prague 4 (27.2%) and Prague 1 (17.2%). The most active firms were IT companies (23.0%), followed by professional services (17.0%) and flexible offices (12.1%). The share of renegotiations in total demand reached 25.9%, while newly leased space, pre-leases and expansions represented 74.1% of total demand. This stems from the analysis of the Prague Research Forum (PRF), whose members are CBRE, Colliers International, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL and KNIGHT FRANK.
