Government of Czech Republic bans drug re-export

The government prohibited at its extraordinary meeting the re-export of all medicinal products intended for the Czech market to other countries. The export ban concerns both EU Member States and non-EU countries. Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) said that the aim is to ensure the availability of drugs for Czech citizens. At the same time, government members have decided that, as of March 18, 2020, members of the security corps are prohibited from engaging in any gainful activity other than that of members of the security corps.
