The boom in investment in crypto currency start-ups is
spreading rapidly in the global market. The daily E15 reports, that since
January 2021, start-ups in the industry have received over USD 14bn from
investors. For the whole of 2020, it was less than USD 4bn.
Larger players who
are willing to take risks, most often bet on new crypto projects. Cyrrus
portfolio manager Tomáš Pfeiler said, that the extremely relaxed monetary policy
of central banks forces investors to look for alternative assets. He added that
many investors considering participating in crypto projects would consider them
absurdly risky only a few years ago.
