Prague transportation company opens consultations for automatic metro system

The Prague Public Transport Company (DPP) is launching preliminary market consultations with potential suppliers of an automatic metro system. DPP plans to obtain information and documents for setting the conditions of the prepared public contract for the supply of individual components of the automatic system for modernization of line C and the new line D. The first round of consultations will run until mid-July. DPP wants to address eight global manufacturers of metro systems, including Bombardier, Siemens, Alstom, Ansaldo STS from the Hitachi group, Thales, Stadler and others.
