American university startup QC82 develops a proton-based quantum technology that will be able to power room-temperature quantum processors.

Czech fund Tensor Ventures has invested USD 1m in the American university startup QC82. It has developed a quantum technology based on the use of photons. It should enable the production of powerful, room-temperature quantum processors and computers. Quantum technology, with its ability to simulate very complex operations, could have a profound impact on life on our planet. They can help, among other things, to reduce emissions, save energy, develop new medicines and materials. The startup expects to receive support from the US government through special programs in addition to investor support.
